Jeff Reavis – Jeff Reavis enters his seventh season with Gainesville Juniors and sixth as Executive Director. Coach Reavis has guided six Gainesville Juniors teams to the USAV Nationals earning one top ten finish. Previous to joining Gainesville Juniors, Coach Reavis was a premier coach with Tampa Bay Juniors and the University of Tampa. He also was the director of the Florida High Performance Program in 2005. In 2009 his 18 Black team finished 11th in the American Division. Coach Reavis is the head varsity coach at Buchholz High School, where they just recently won the Class 6A 2007 State Championship. Coach Reavis is a CAP II certified coach and an Impact course instructor. 
 
 
Chad Davis – Chad Davis enters his ninth season with Gainesville Juniors and his fourth as the Director of Coaching. Coach Davis has guided six teams to the USAV Nationals with two teams earning top ten in the nation. His 2001 15 National team finished 9th in the Open Division, the highest finish for any Gainesville Juniors team. In 2009 his 13 Black team finished 29th in the entire country. Coach Davis is the varsity assistant coach at Ocala Vanguard High School. During his time at GHS, Gainesville reached four consecutive State Final Fours and won the Class 5A State Championship in 2000. Coach Davis is CAP 1 certified. 

Scott Burton – Scott is entering my 5th season with Gainesville Juniors.  Scott spent 3 years as the Assistant Varsity Coach at Buchholz High School.  Scott is currently the head coach of the 12's Black team as well as the Head Coach at High Springs Community School, Junior Varsity and Assistant Varsity Coach at Santa Fe High School.  He is the Dean of Students at High Springs Community.  In college, Scott played club volleyball for Ohio State University. 

 
Alesha Busch – Alesha is the Head JV Volleyball Coach at Buchholz High School.  She played for Gainesville Juniors for 8 years and played for Buchholz High School for 4 years.  While she was at BHS her team was 4 time District Champions and in her senior season she was named MVP. Alesha then chose to continue her volleyball career at the University of Central Florida where she received a degree in Finance. While in Orlando she coached 3 years for OVA and spent her summers coaching numerous volleyball camps. This is her fourth year coaching club volleyball, second season with Gainesville Juniors. Alesha was a member of the 2001 Gainesville Juniors team that had the highest finish in Club history. 

Jennifer Cordova - Jennifer played for Gainesville Juniors for five years and four years for Eastside High School where she was an all-state selection in 2000. After her graduation in 2001, she served as an Assistant Coach for both Eastside High School and Gainesville Juniors 14s team. This will be her third season coaching for Gainesville Juniors. 

 
Josh Crow - Josh is beginning his fourth year with Gainesville Juniors. Josh has guided one team to USAV Nationals.  Prior to returning to Gainesville, Josh coached for Phoenix North Valley Volleyball Club in Phoenix Arizona for four seasons and served as the JV coach at North Canyon High School for one season.  Josh began his coaching career with a four year run at Naples High School, during which he spent one season with USA South and two with Naples Juniors.  Josh has spent each summer of his career coaching various camps and clinics, including UF Gator Camp, and is CAP I certified.  Prior to coaching, Josh played club volleyball for The University of Florida.   

 
Joe DeGance - Joe enters his fourth year of coaching for Gainesville Juniors, after successfully leading the 10U team to the finals of the silver bracket in the 2007 AAU Nationals finishing 10th overall and a 2nd place finish for his 12 Black Team in the 2008 Florida Regionals. This is Joe’s fourth year coaching, he learned to play volleyball on the beaches of South Florida for over ten years. He is a married father of three, two girls and a boy. 

Brandon DeGel – Brandon has been playing for 15+ years, including both Junior Olympics and Club volleyball at the University of Florida. He had been coaching at Oak Hall for the past four years and has been coaching club for four years. Brandon is a senior at UF attending law school next year, this is his first year at Gainesville Juniors. 

 
 
Joe Deluca - Joe is the Varsity Head Coach at St Francis Catholic High School. He is entering his sixth year of coaching club volleyball and this is his fourth year with Gainesville Juniors. Joe has led four teams to USAV Nationals earning two top ten finishes in 12 Club and 13 Club. Joe has also won the Big South National Qualifier in 2006 and 2007. Joe is CAP 1 certified and was named the 2007 Gainesville Sun Coach of the Year for 1A through 3A classifications. 

Marisa Farabaugh – Marisa was a four-year varsity player for Gainesville High School, where she was named to both local and state conference teams.  During her time there, she helped the Purple Hurricanes make two appearances to the State Final Four.  Marisa also played for Gainesville Juniors during its first years of development.  During this time Marisa helped her 16's team make the club's first ever national appearance.  This is Marisa's first year coaching at Gainesville Juniors.  

 

Matt Farabaugh - Matt is entering his first season coaching for Gainesville Juniors. Matt comes to us from Pennsylvania after spending three years as an assistant coach for the Cumberland Valley HS boys team which won the 2008 state championship. He was also a member of the 2008 KRVA High Performance staff. In 2007, Matt's boys 14s team qualified for the Open division of Nationals. Matt played at Saint Francis University (PA) where he was ranked nationally in digs per game and upon graduation, had set school records in both digs and kills. 

Betsy Keller-This is Betsy’s second year coaching for Gainesville Juniors.  She has played both college and semi-professional volleyball in Puerto Rico and NYC.  For the past 8 years Betsy was the JV head coach for Indian Rocks Christian High School in Largo, Florida. Betsy coached for Pinellas Heat Volleyball club in Clearwater for the last 4 years.  She has coached summer team camps at University of Florida, University of Tampa, and Clearwater Christian College. Betsy holds an Associate degree in Business Management from La Guardia College in NY. Betsy presently coaches for the JV and Varsity teams at Forrest High School in Ocala.

Karlyn Klemmt- Karlyn Klemmt is coaching Gainesville Juniors for the first time this season.  She has previously coached Lakeland Area Volleyball Association for two years.  She played four years of volleyball at Bishop Kenny High School and Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association and played two years at Florida Southern College. 
 
 

Autumn Lindsey- Autumn played volleyball at Keystone Heights High School along with Blaze Volleyball Club as the DS. Her senior year of High School  she was captain and led our team to the sweet sixteen. Autumn received a volleyball scholarship to Saint Johns River Community College and was the libero. While attending SJRCC she received the Scholar Athlete Award. Autumn is attending Santa Fe College and majoring in event planning. This is her first year coaching with Gainesville Juniors. 

 
Betsy Markham - This will be Betsy’s fifth year with Gainesville Juniors. Prior to coming to Gainesville to attend UF, she attended UCF and coached with OVA in Orlando. Betsy played 2 yrs of club for OVA along with her high school team and now has been coaching at Buchholz High School for the past 3 years. Currently she will be finishing out her degree in Building Construction in December and then her Master’s degree in the following summer.  

Allison Martin – Allison Grew up in CT where she played for Cheshire High School. Durring her 4 years they were 2 time state champs 1 time runner-up and quarterfinalists.  She Earned All-State and Region honors as well as participant in Senior All Star Game.  She also played for the Connecticut Juniors program throughout HS. Allison continued her volleyball career playing Libero/DS for DIII program at Gettysburg College for 3 years all of which they were Centennial Conference Champs and made it to quarter finals of NCAA DIII Regional tournament.  She coached on and off throughout college for Cheshire High team at Penn State volleyball team camp and through Gettysburg College camps.  This is Allison’s first year coaching with Gainesville Juniors. 

Danielle Michiels – Danielle played varsity high school volleyball team all four years, two at Godwin High school in Virginia, and two at Berkeley Prep in Tampa.  She played for Richmond Volleyball Club and also Tampa Bay Juniors. She is currently on the UF club volleyball team. I am in my second year at UF with a Psychology major with a minor in Zoology. This is her first year coaching for Gainesville Juniors. 

Stephanie Moser – This is Stephanie's first year as a coach for Gainesville Juniors. She played club volleyball for 5 years and 4 years at Santa Fe High School. Stephanie is now a freshman at UF pursuing degrees is Business Administration and Sports Management. 

Nicole Nestra – Nicole is currently a student at the University of Florida earning my Masters in International Business.  Nicole coached for 4 years at Destin Middle School before moving to Gainesville.  She also played for 4 years at Niceville High School.  For the past 2 years Nicole has been coaching at A Girls' Place Inc.  This is her first year with Gainesville Juniors.  
 

Kit Niesen – This is Kit’s first year coaching with Gainesville Juniors.  She played volleyball at Georgetown University for four years. Originally from the Gainesville area, she graduated from Eastside High School. She has worked collegiate camps in Gainesville and the Washington, DC area. She now teaches middle school English at St. Pat’s school in Gainesville. 
 

 
Paqui Peon – Paqui was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He played and coached volleyball at Miami Sunset Senior High. Paqui is the Varsity assistant coach at Santa Fe High School and enters his sixth year as a coach for Gainesville Juniors. 
 
 

Robert Skidmore – Robert has been involved with Gainesville Juniors for 7 years.  He is a USAV Nationally Certified Scorekeeper, a  FHSAA  & USAV Official and the parent of daughters who have played with GJVC from 12's to 18's.
